SharmanNomNom

Hmmm, I might be addicted to Bollywood, but I have another crush. It's Sharman Joshi, here pictured with Gul Panag, in what I assume is a still from their upcoming film, "Hello." At any rate, I think it's one of the cutest pictures ever. Plus Gul Panag is incredible (check out DOR).

ArshadYummyWarsi

So, I have an inexplicable but very serious crush on Arshad Warsi. Best known for his work as Circuit in the Munna Bhai movies, he is less well-known for his dancing ability. However it did not escape my notice! And, in fact, he is a former choreographer.
So, I'm sort of convinced we are soul mates. I get that he's married, but this is my blog, and hence MY fantasy, so whatever.

IMissBollywood

Well, I've been in Prague for 10 days and have not watched a single BW film yet. I've tried downloading, but they never seem to have subtitles. I'll have to break into my cousin's flat and borrow the stash she has there (shhh, she's in Mumbai. Don't tell.) because I CAN'T STAND THIS!! I need singing! I need mountains! I need bindis and bangles and head shaking! I miss Showbiz India! I've been trolling YouTube and watching Bol Na Halke every day but it isn't working. It isn't ENOUGH.
Sheesh. Back to trolling.

ShreyasTalpadeIsRuiningMyLife

I am now obsessed with Shreyas Talpade, of Dor, Iqbal, Bombay to Bangkok, and most recently, Om Shanti Om fame. He has been in other films, but I haven't seen them yet so they don't really matter.
I first noticed him in OSO, where he managed to stand out even next to SRK. (Granted, I'm not an OTT SRK fan, but still...) Then I saw Dor and it was officially over for poor me. There is a kind of joy that emanates from him. The silly smile, the eyes? See, here I go again. I need therapy.

KareenaRealization

I can't believe it took me this long to figure out why I dislike Kareena Kapoor!!! It's b/c she's the Indian version of Paris Hilton! Looks-wise, obviously. Am I crazy?
I don't think so!

EDIT: I now know that everyone thinks she looks like Paris, so I'm not a genius or anything for spotting that. I also now no longer dislike her! I suspected I didn't hate her after I saw her in Asoka, and then she made me cry at the end of Chup Chup Ke, and then she did Jab We Met and it was a done deal. I think the problem with her is that people see her in K3G with that horrific lip gloss and despise on sight. If they see her in something where she isn't wearing 80 pounds of makeup, like Yuva, they tend to like her more.

The picture I posted is her with Shahid Kapoor, her ex. I actually really like her new man, Saif Ali Khan, but they irritate me as a couple. Plus Shahid is so durn cute.

Don

Okay, once again SRK proves he has more star power in one of his dimples than most people achieve in a lifetime. Still, I had to watch Don twice to understand the plot. I WAS drunk the first time, but it didn't get much easier when I watched it sober. The subtitles are incomprehensible!!! And the editing is terrible. But Arjun is pretty great in it. And I'm a big Priyanka fan, too. But you know a plot is not well written when you're suprised at the end to find out the main character had a wife throughout the whole time and you never realized it.....

Edit: So now I hear that Don was NOT married. I guess that lady was his girlfriend. Makes me wonder again about the subtitles, b/c I was really paying attention the second time I watched it. Maybe I have to see it again.
